Snack Wrap fans, get ready — McDonald’s has officially confirmed that the beloved menu item will be making a comeback sometime in 2025!
The fast-food giant dropped the news on Tuesday, April 15, with a cryptic teaser on X (formerly Twitter). In a playful post, McDonald’s hinted that the Snack Wrap will return on “0x.14.2025” — revealing the day (the 14th) but keeping the month a mystery.
Originally introduced in 2006, the Snack Wrap quickly became a fan favorite before being pulled from U.S. menus in 2016. The wrap featured crispy or grilled chicken, shredded lettuce, cheese, and a choice of ranch or honey mustard dressing, all neatly rolled in a soft tortilla.
Since the announcement, fans have flooded social media with speculation about which month the snack will return. One user guessed June, prompting McDonald’s cheeky reply: “I cannot confirm or deny.” To another enthusiastic fan, the brand simply responded, “Soon friend soon.”
McDonald’s U.S. President Joe Erlinger added fuel to the hype during a December 2024 appearance on Good Morning America. “The Snack Wrap will be back in 2025,” Erlinger confirmed. “This has a cult following. I get so many emails about this product.”
However, Erlinger also noted that the exact release date is still under wraps — no pun intended — citing “competitive reasons” for the secrecy.
Whether it’s June, August, or another surprise month, one thing’s certain: 2025 is shaping up to be a delicious year for McDonald’s loyalists.
